Plus, we can offer you built in extras such as breakfast, broadband internet access and daily newspapers, just for being a Flight Centre Limited business client. We provide you with emergency assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from anywhere in the world, to assist you with any last minute or unexpected changes to your travel plans.

Outside of the core operating hours, Corporate Traveller provides round-the-clock personal support through Corporate Traveller's 24/7 Emergency Assist. Our 24/7 Emergency Assist service is located in Brisbane, our global headquarters and is staffed by dedicated Corporate Traveller personnel. All team members are multi-skilled to book both domestic and international travel and cater for telephone enquiries and bookings.

Corporate Traveller's 24/7 Emergency Assist team utilise the same technology platform as your dedicated consulting team – meaning they are able to access all data and information regarding your travellers, company policy and preferences.

Travellers are able to access Corporate Traveller's 24/7 Emergency Assist anywhere in the world by using a toll free number from Australia or New Zealand or directly if outside of Australia.

It also provides approval processes, preferred supplier arrangements and management information reporting, so you can track your travel expenditure and make improvements. Corporate Traveller Selfbook enforces all aspects of travel policy compliance and gives you unprecedented control over your travel budgets.

This leading-edge tool specifically offers the ability to:

  • display all airfares across all airlines so you can search, compare and book from within the same screen; or customise the availability display, should you not wish to show all fare types
  • display contracted pricing for airlines, hotels and car hire, so you can see the discounted prices up front
  • display multiple hotels on one screen simultaneously, for easy comparison
  • search for a hotel by name
  • view government rates at hotels where they are available

What makes our online booking tool unique?

Our online booking tool is a third-generation product developed by Lumina Technologies, a division of the Flight Centre Limited group of companies that has been developing online booking tools in Australia since 1996. Our online booking tool provides a web interface to Client, the back office system used by our consultants. It offers a comprehensive suite of web-based solutions and would be available to your business as an online booking tool, online requisition tool or both. This is only possible because our online booking technology is owned, managed and developed by our business in Australia.

Corporate Travel Insurance

Corporate Traveller offers a comprehensive yet flexible travel insurance policy for your travelling employees. Our annual policy provides cover for an unlimited number of journeys, both international and domestic and can be extended to cover the traveller's spouse and children.

Benefits of our Corporate Travel Insurance Policy include:

  • Unlimited cover for overseas hospital, medical, surgical, nursing, ambulance and emergency dental expenses
  • Unlimited cover for additional accommodation and transportation expenses as a result of unexpected events, such as accidental injury, sickness, natural disasters, strikes, or loss of travel documents
  • Unlimited cover for ticket amendment and cancellation costs
  • Luggage cover: $15,000 (computers $3,500 and individual luggage items $1,000 – can increase items by a further $4,500)
  • Excess insurance cover for rental cars
  • Cost for replacement employees to complete an assignment as a result of illness or injury of the insured
  • Cover for additional accommodation expenses if your scheduled transport is delayed for more than 6 hours

Travelex Currency Exchange

Your travel manager can arrange foreign currency exchange and fixed rate Travelex travellers cheques for your employees travelling overseas. For security and convenience we can also arrange a Travelex Cash Passport cash-card, which is accepted at over 1 million ATMs world wide.

Benefits of the Travelex Cash Passport include:

  • Security: all cards are PIN-protected and additional cards can be issued and linked to the same name and/or budget-code. If one of the cards is subsequently lost or stolen it can be reported and dealt with whilst still making use of one of the alternative cards issued;
  • Convenience: funds are accessible 24 hours a day with no daily withdrawal limits, and users can even 'top up' their cash-card online or through a standard B-Pay facility from anywhere in Australia.
  • 24/7 Emergency Assistance: travellers can get practical help and assistance 24/7 with situations such as lost passports or wallets, medical emergencies, legal problems and even translation assistance.
