Funding sought for business-only airline

A new airline catering specifically for business class travel is turning to crowd funding to help get off the ground.

UK based carrier Odyssey Airlines is aiming to launch non-stop flights from London to New York and other locations for business passengers only. The goal is to provide stress-free travel for business passengers who don't want to deal with the hassle of going through larger airports.
The airline has also announced it will be seeking more funding from institutions during the first half of 2015.

Odyssey Airlines ordered 10 Bombardier passenger jets last year in a deal that was reported to be worth $628 million. Odyssey is one of the first buyers of the C-series aircraft from Bombardier, which feature 40 full flat-bed seats.

The airline is looking to provide transatlantic services to other destinations in North America as well as the Middle East and Europe.

Odyssey is scheduled to begin operating from mid-2016.
