Etihad Airways has unveiled its first premium lounge in Australia at Sydney's Kingsford Smith International Airport.
Spanning two levels, the lounge includes a variety of amenities designed to cater for first and business class passengers including Apple computers, complimentary Wi-Fi, multi-zone electrical and USB power outlets and comfortable armchairs. Bathrooms, shower facilities, a children's play room and male and female prayer rooms are also available.
The lounge has been designed to offer guests a welcoming and comfortable space where they can relax, enjoy good food and a variety of entertainment options with work facilities also available.
Travellers have a choice of restaurant-style a la carte food and a buffet-style array of options. With alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available, guests in the lounge can experience the best of local Australian producers and wineries.
Etihad Airways Diamond First Class, Pearl Business Class and qualifying members of the Etihad Guest loyalty program will all have access to the new Sydney lounge.

"It's all about offering an experience in the lounge that not only sets the tone for but is also consistent with the flight experience ahead. I'm confident the wonderful team of hospitality professionals we have in our Sydney lounge, together with our check-in staff and guest service agents, will ensure we deliver on that promise."
The lounge is located in Pier C in the international terminal, adjacent to Gate 51.
