Travel update - Chilean ash cloud
Ash from Chile's volcano continues to cause flight disruptions across Australia.
The ash clouds, which are reported to be circling the earth for a second time, have forced the cancellation of flights in Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Mildura, Canberra and Sydney.
Airlines are yet to confirm any service changes for Melbourne.
Please be advised:
- Qantas has cancelled all of its flights in and out of Sydney from 3pm today, Qantas' Canberra services are suspended from midday, all Qantas services to/from Adelaide and Port Lincoln have also been suspended for today,
- Virgin has suspended all services in and out of Adelaide and Mildura today, until at least 2pm
- Virgin has not yet made an announcement about flights to and from Sydney
- Air New Zealand services will continue as normal to all Australian ports.
- REX has cancelled flights in and out of Adelaide until at least midday today
Travellers are advised to confirm all flights. Contact your travel manager for further information.
