Travel update - Hurricane Irene

Passengers heading to the USA or travelling within the USA are advised to confirm all flights prior to heading to the airport.

More than 10,000 flights across the US were delayed, cancelled or diverted over the weekend due to the effects of Hurricane Irene.

Airports in New York, Washington and other Northeast US locations were also closed Saturday and Sunday due to the storm.

Travellers can expect delays today and over the next few days as airlines work to clear the backlog of passengers.
