Discover Gold* for eligible Qantas Frequent Flyers!

Virgin Australia invites Qantas Gold and above members to fast track to Velocity elite membership with Discover Gold.*

Virgin Australia will offer you a 3 month trial of Velocity Gold Status, giving you the opportunity to experience flying with a fun and vibrant airline.

To gain full Velocity Gold Status for 12 months after your Discover Gold trial and enjoy all the gold trimmings of being a Gold member, you’ll only need to earn 80 Status Credits and fly one eligible sector before your 3 month trial ends.

Here’s how:

1. Join Velocity Frequent Flyer if you're not already a member, its free!
2. Submit an expression of interest, by 21 December 2020, if you’re eligible for Discovery Gold you can immediately access some of their world class benefits. You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold, Platinum or Platinum One member to fast track to Velocity elite membership with Discovery Gold*.
3. Maintain Full Gold Status.* Earn 80 Status Credits and fly at least one eligible sector during your Discover Gold Status trial. Virgin Australia will assess your eligibility at the end of your 3 month Discover Gold trial, and if you’re eligible, they will notify you directly and you’ll receive 12 months of full Gold status.
