Qatar Airways: Best in the world (again)  

Qatar Airways has taken out the title of World’s Best Airline in the Airline Awards for a record-breaking ninth time. Not exactly an underdog story, but definitely a masterclass in consistency.  

They also snagged:  

• World’s Best Business Class  
• Best Business Class Airline Lounge  
• Best Airline in the Middle East

If you’re heading overseas and want the Business Class experience that everyone else is raving about, Qatar Airways is your go-to. Champagne in the lounge, lie-flat seats, five-star service… it’s basically a hotel in the sky.  

Singapore Airlines: Cabin crew goals  

Ranked #2 in the world, Singapore Airlines continues to be the gold standard for service.  

They also walked away with:  

• World’s Best Cabin Crew  
• Best First Class  
• Best Airline in Asia  

Their crew are so polished, they’ll have you looked after before you even buckle up. And those First Class Suites? More like your own private sanctuary in the sky - comfort, privacy and style all in one.  

Emirates: All-round luxury  

Emirates came in at #4 globally, but when it comes to inflight entertainment, they’re hard to beat. Need a film for every mood? Done.  

Their top awards include:  

• 2nd for Best Inflight Entertainment  
• Top rankings for First Class, Premium Economy, and cleanliness  

Basically, if you're flying long-haul and want to binge-watch a full Netflix lineup between Sydney and London, Emirates has your back.  

Qantas: The kangaroo still kicks

Qantas was named Best Airline in Australia/Pacific, proving that the flying kangaroo still packs a punch when it comes to quality and reliability. It’s a well-earned win that reflects the airline’s continued investment in its customer experience - from upgraded lounges to polished onboard service.

“This award reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering for our customers,” said Qantas Group CEO Vanessa Hudson. “It’s a testament to the exceptional work of our people.”

If you're flying interstate or heading off on an international business trip, Qantas continues to be a solid bet for comfort and consistency. 

Virgin Australia: Friendly skies and top-tier service

Virgin Australia also had a moment in the spotlight, taking home Best Airline Staff Service in Australia/Pacific and Best Regional Airline in the region.

Whether it’s a quick dash between capitals or a regional hop, Virgin Australia’s crew are known for bringing the warmth, making business travel feel just that little bit more enjoyable.

When you’re travelling across Australia or jetting off to nearby business hubs, it’s good to know that both major carriers are bringing their A-game. Whether you’re team Qantas or team Virgin (or somewhere in between), you’re in good hands.   

North America: Air Canada leads, Delta delivers

Air Canada picked up Best Airline in North America, and their Signature Suite at Toronto Pearson was awarded Best Business Class Lounge Dining. Yep, they won an award for their food before you even step on the plane. Not bad for airport dining, hey?

Also flying the flag proudly was Delta Air Lines, who took out Best Airline Staff Service in North America. That’s a win for anyone who values a smooth, friendly experience at 35,000 feet (and let’s be honest - who doesn’t?).
