Australian businesses will be reinvesting in business travel this year as domestic and international border restrictions ease, business confidence grows and triple vaccination rates increase.

Nearly half of the respondents in the latest Corporate Traveller survey said they were planning on increasing their business travel activity to 2019 levels. An impressive 41% of medium-sized businesses said they expected to be travelling more in 2022, than what they were in 2019.

Corporate Traveller surveyed 202 Australian SMEs to find out what the market’s appetite was for domestic and international travel. If the numbers are anything to go by, businesses are steadily regaining confidence and banking on a return to normal for trading conditions and travel activity.
